Chapter 14 Donates to Fisher House

American Legion Riders Present $1500 to Fisher House Boston

On October 18th members of the Hooksett American Legion Riders, Chapter 14, Post 37, made a trip to West Roxbury, MA to present $1,500.00 to the Fisher House Boston. This contribution to the Fisher House Boston is our first annual contribution to this worthy recipient. The Fisher House Boston opened in May of 2010 and is the 46th Fisher House to be dedicated. Donations such as this from the Legion Riders goes into a general fund to help with the direct comfort needs for families, such as food, toothbrushes and other special needs items.

About Us

The program was designed to have people work together and enjoy themselves. It may be a group of Riders working on a fundraiser for a local charity, it may be just a warm summer evening ride together or maybe just sitting at the Post sharing stories.
